What if your dream life is possible? Is it hard for you to believe?

The other day when I was having a moment (aka little tantrum) about something that wasn't working, my coach totally challenged me on it.

He said that I'm living in the 'what if it doesn't work out' world. It makes me sad, it makes me hopeless, and it fills me with doubt.

Then he went on to say, "you know Melissa, you've really given this way of thinking a good try. You've thoroughly explored the 'what if it doesn't work out' approach, and it hasn't gotten you very far."

What if?

"What if you just started living like it is possible?" he said.

I couldn't argue with him so I decided to go with it.

The thing is, we all have doubts and fears and it's a really normal part of being human.

We all invest time and energy asking the questions "what if?"

Since you're asking anyway, why not start asking "what if it does work out?".

"What if it is possible?"

I'm betting the results you get will be so much better.

If you'd like to hear more of my take on this, check out this video that I actually made 6 months ago. I'm going to shut up and listen to myself.

Perhaps a little shift in mindset might go a long way for you also.

PS. If you need some help to get back on the self-belief train, let's have a chat. That's one thing coaches can do, look from the outside in, and help you see more clearly.

PPS Don't forget, today is your final day to talk to me about a coaching package at 15% off. The New Year's sale is about to wrap up!

It's been 2 years since I last discounted my coaching prices and it will likely be longer than that before it happens again. If you've ever considered working with your own coach to take your life and business to a whole new level, now is the time to get in touch.

Less than 48 hours into the new year. How are you doing?

I ask this question because the New Year often has this wonderful energy with it that can quickly disappear once the calendar has ticked over a couple of days.

Now you have whole year ahead to do with whatever you please. And it doesn't matter if your goals for this year include building an empire or baking a cake, this is your year to shine.

Here are a few things that I'd like you to remember this year:
  • life is short, precious and unpredictable - don't hold back on your dreams
  • you are amazing and capable of so much more than you might think
  • self-doubt is a waste of time - nothing happens unless you try
  • your life is for living - balance work, play, fun, contribution and responsibilities as much as you can
  • take excellent care of yourself always
Wishing you the most wonderful of new beginnings.
