If your plans and goals in 2019 didn’t work out like you’d hoped they would there are a few things you must know that will help you feel better.
1. 2019 will soon be the past and you can leave it there. It will be so much easier for you to create an amazing 2020 if you don’t drag all your mistakes, failures and shortcomings from 2019 with you. The past does not equal the future. Get excited about the clean slate that a new year offers you.
2. Take your 2019 stuff-ups (things that didn’t work out so well) and turn them into your 2020 goals. Didn’t have enough clients in 2019, make it a top goal for 2020. Didn’t lost those extra 10kgs, your new goal for next year is to make it happen. This will switch your focus from what didn’t work into what you are going to do next.
3. You need a clear plan and discipline to make things happen. Hoping and wishing is not a strategy and rarely produces great results. Find the clarity you need, make a step-by-step plan and set routines and structure that will help you stay on track.
Hopefully this helps if you are feeling stressed, overwhelmed or worn out by the year just gone. Let it go and let’s get excited and strategic about what is all possible.
